Wedding bells are ringing for model Karlie Kloss and her longtime beau Josh Kushner (whose older brother Jared Kushner is Donald Trump’s son-in-law)! The younger Kushner brother reportedly proposed to the supermodel in upstate New York a few weeks ago. Kloss confirmed the news with an Instagram post yesterday, caption, ” I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over.”
Of course, we can’t wait to see what Kloss will wear for her big day. With the model mostly adopting a minimalist, contemporary approach when hitting the red carpet, we won’t be surprised if she opts for a sleek bridal ensemble. And our bet is on American fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, whom she’s turned to for the Met Gala in recent years. Here are some of her noteworthy bridal-esque looks to glean inspiration from.

Who can forget this iconic moment at the 2016 Met Gala when the model shed a cover-up cape ensemble to look like an absolute knock-out in a Brandon Maxwell design with eye-popping cut-outs and a plunging neckline.
And that’s not all. For the after-party, instead of switching outfits, Maxwell literally snipped her skirt in half, transforming the gown into a dancefloor-appropriate mini.
