There’s something irresistibly binge-worthy about Netflix’s survival spectacle Physical: Asiaand let’s be honest, it’s not just the brutal endurance tests. The cast is hot, athletically gifted, and impossibly charismatic, making every episode a workout for the viewer too.

A spin-off of Netflix’s hit Physical: 100, this new series pits teams of elite athletes from eight countries—South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia, Türkiye, Australia, and the Philippines—against one another in a punishing tournament where national pride is at stake. With the finale wrapped and one nation walking away with bragging rights, fans (us included) are still buzzing.

And naturally, the question on everyone’s minds: Which of these ridiculously attractive competitors are single? We put our FBI-level sleuthing skills to work (all in the name of journalism, of course) to bring you the scoop on Physical: Asia’s relationship statuses—from rumoured flames to longtime partners to quiet crushes.

Kim Dong Hyun

The 43-year-old South Korean MMA fighter—nicknamed “Stun Gun”—married his long-time partner, Song Ha-Yool, in 2018. They welcomed their first son the following year, their first daughter in 2021, and their third child (a second daughter) in 2023. As the Team Korea captain on Physical: Asia, he’s not just a powerhouse in the arena but a proud, hands-on dad of three at home.

Amotti

The hot favourite of Physical: Asia—and winner of Physical: 100 season 2—tied the knot last year. In an equally joyous update shared on his November 10 vlog, the CrossFit athlete revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first baby.

Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan

But Amotti’s latest vlog offered a rare glimpse behind the curtain: the champion wrestler is married, and he and his wife are expecting a baby.

Dulguun Enkhbat

Team Mongolia’s pro basketballer is another family man on the show. He’s married to his partner, Puje Bat-Erdene, and they share three children together.

Soichi Hashimoto

Winning in life and in love! The 34-year-old captain of Japan’s national judo team competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, helping his team secure a silver medal while taking home an individual bronze. The same year, he and his wife welcomed a baby boy, joining their four-year-old daughter.
