There’s something irresistibly binge-worthy about Netflix’s survival spectacle Physical: Asia—and it’s not just the punishing endurance challenges. The cast is fierce, athletically gifted, and utterly charismatic, proving that female strength comes in every form and making every episode impossible to look away from.

What is Physical: Asia?

A spin-off of Netflix’s hit Physical: 100, this series brings together elite athletes from eight countries—South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia, Türkiye, Australia, and the Philippines—to go head-to-head in a grueling tournament where national pride is at stake. With the finale wrapped and one nation claiming victory, fans (us included) are still buzzing.

And naturally, the question on everyone’s minds: Which of these powerhouse women are single? We’ve put our sleuthing skills to work—strictly in the name of admiration and curiosity—to uncover the romantic statuses of Physical: Asia’s female competitors.

Choi Seung-yeon

The 26-year-old CrossFit athlete keeps her relationship status under wraps. But if you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of Asia’s top-three female CrossFit competitor, your best bet might be CrossFit Limelight, where she also coaches.

Jang Eun-sil

The former South Korean national wrestling team member keeps her relationship status private. However, it seems her Physical: Asia castmate, Team Mongolia’s Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu, might have a cheeky crush on her—judging by his playful social media posts, including a recent selfie with the spicy caption: “One kiss says let’s take it back. They say love is not allowed” from her visit to Mongolia.

Nonoka Ozaki

It hasn’t been reported whether the 22-year-old bronze medalist wrestler from Team Japan is currently in a relationship. However, she recently liked a TikTok comment asking if she was single—could this mean Nonoka is ready for romance?

Adiyasuren Amarsaikhan

The 25-year-old judo athlete revealed in a Buro Mongolia article that she doesn’t have a boyfriend, adding with a laugh, “I don’t even really have crushes on famous people either. I truly don’t.”

Khandsuren Gantogtokh

Team Mongolia’s volleyball ace, currently spiking for Japan’s Tokyo Sunbeams in the V League, seems to be keeping her heart game on the sidelines—no public romance in sight.

Fina Philippe

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and actress seems to be flying solo. In a 2022 interview, the then 32-year-old admitted she isn’t actively looking for a boyfriend, calling herself “too lazy” for the dating game and confessing she’s been hurt and “tired of playing games.”

Maria Selena

Beauty, brains, and brawn. The former beauty queen and actress, who also played professional basketball in Indonesia’s WNBL, is currently single after calling off her engagement in 2021. Focusing on herself and her passions, Maria is poised to embrace whatever the future brings—we can’t wait to see what this Miss Universe alum achieves next!

Nefise Karatay

The 25-year-old former 60-meter and 100-meter national-champion runner and Survivor Turkiye contestant is single and candid about love: “I’m already a stressful person. There’s no need for more stress. Our hearts are empty.” She’s openly smitten with Survivor host Murat Ceylan—“incredibly handsome, rare to find”—and admires fellow contestant Fanis Boletsis for his charisma and cool vibe.

Alexandra Milne

The former competitive cheerleader and fitness bombshell is engaged to her coach, Matt Hampton. The couple got engaged in 2024 during a romantic vacation in Spain.

Katelin van Zyl

The former hockey player turned CrossFit and Hyrox competitor is married to her husband, Johann, and together they have two sons. Athleticism clearly runs in the family—she’s even shared glimpses of her little ones training alongside her, proving that this powerhouse lifestyle is a family affair.
