Amotti is coming to Singapore for HYROX and he might be competing with this teammate from ‘Physical: Asia’

Fresh off our screens after binge-watching Netflix’s highly raved reality series Physical: Asia, fans are understandably obsessed with the contestants — and one standout competitor continues to steal hearts everywhere: Kim Jae-hong, better known as Amotti. The Physical:100 Season 2 winner and Physical: Asia star has been gaining traction for his charming smile, athleticism, and down-to-earth personality. And now, fans in Singapore have even more reason to cheer: Amotti will be in town for the two-day AIA HYROX Singapore event happening this weekend (Nov 29–30) at Singapore EXPO.

The fitness star recently took to Instagram with a video of him running alongside a few others, hinting that he will be competing in the event — and not alone. His teammate from Physical: Asia, Choi Seung-Yeon, is also expected to join him.

In his post, he captioned: “🇸🇬 HYROX Singapore D-9. Getting ready with @seungyeon_choi_ one more time 🔥”

He later followed up with another post featuring Choi, writing: “My best HYROX partner 🤝 @seungyeon_choi_”

Given that HYROX allows participants to compete individually, as a duo or in teams, fans are already speculating that the duo may take part in the Mixed Doubles category.

AIA HYROX Singapore is part of the Singapore Urban Sports and Fitness Festival, which runs from 15 to 30 November. Across the same weekend at Singapore EXPO, expect an exciting line-up of sporting events, including the Boxing Extravaganza by Spartans Boxing Club, Defy Gravity: National Calisthenics Championships 2025, Extinct Games Singapore International Strongman Competition, the Singapore Aerial & Pole Fiesta 2025 and more.
