Sure, running can be a solo thing. But if you’re starting to lose steam on your weekday 5K runs or need more motivation to keep your body moving, it might be time to join a run club. Having transformed the landscape since gaining more traction after the pandemic, we’ve seen a spike in the number of running communities over the last few years.

But why is everyone so obsessed with run clubs? For some, running can feel like a lonely sport—but doing it with a group offers not just company, but also accountability. Plus, it makes the whole experience more fun (yes, even at 7am).

On the flip side, there are those who don’t join run clubs for the running at all. They’re in it for the vibes. Think ice-cold rooftop plunges, post-run coffees, and mingling with like-minded people. At this point, it’s less about clocking mileage and more about finding a new way to connect.

That said, if you’re on the hunt for a new run club, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve rounded up some of the coolest running crews in Singapore to match your vibe and your pace.

  1. 1. Puma NITRO Run Club
  2. 2. Big Boyz Run Club
  3. 3. Happy Pace Club
  4. 4. Easy Pace Run Club
  5. 5. Don’t Be That Friend
  6. 6. Okay Anot Running

Puma NITRO Run Club

If you’re serious about improving your pace or form, Puma NITRO Run Club is worth considering. While it’s open to all fitness levels, the sessions are more structured and focused on enhancing your performance. Held every Tuesday, you can choose your level of difficulty (marathon, half-marathon, or 5/10KM)—each with a dedicated programme to help you reach your goals.

Besides running, the club also hosts strength training sessions on Sundays at Neue Fit, perfect for those looking to improve strength and endurance.

They update their Instagram regularly with monthly schedules, so stay tuned for more.

They have an all-female crew that runs weekly, and all you need to do is turn up. Registration is completely free.

Easy Pace Run Club

Just like its name suggests, Easy Pace Run Club is a space for runners of all levels to move at their own pace. They have different pace groups you can join, whether you’re training hard or just in the mood for a brisk walk.

Over the last few months, they’ve also partnered with brands like New Balance for campaigns like Grey Days, where participants got to test the latest running shoes during a group run.
