Beauty creator Anda Chaudhry, better known as @andathesea, has built a loyal following with her radiant, blush-forward makeup looks and refreshingly practical beauty advice. Her philosophy is simple: makeup should enhance your features, not hide them.

“Every face is a canvas, and you’re the artist,” says the 30-year-old. “Makeup and skincare should make you feel confident in your own skin, but there are no rules.”

Her journey into content creation began almost a decade ago while she was living in Malaysia, when friends and followers kept asking about her beauty routine. “I’ve always been a beauty enthusiast, so most of my paycheck somehow found its way to beauty products,” she laughs.

As the makeup category judge for this year’s Her World x Shopee Beauty Awards, Anda evaluates every product through the same honest, consumer-first lens that has earned her the trust of her audience. While performance is non-negotiable, she believes affordability is just as important.

“A winning product needs to perform exceptionally well, deliver on its promises and be accessible,” she says. “Beauty should be inclusive. Everyone deserves to experience products that make them feel confident and beautiful.”

For Anda, judging the awards is also about representing real people and real skin.

“Being part of the judging panel allows me to share my honest experiences, and I hope it reminds people that you don’t need perfect skin to enjoy beauty or feel confident.”

Here, she shares her favourite beauty hacks and the standout product that impressed her most during this year’s Beauty Awards.

What’s your beauty superpower?

I think my beauty superpower is knowing how to cover acne and dark spots while still keeping skin looking natural. I also love helping people find the blush style and shades that best suit their features and skin tone.

What’s one thing you never compromise on when it comes to your beauty routine?

Hydrated lips and under-eyes. Those two areas make such a big difference—they instantly make you look fresher and more awake.

What’s your go-to beauty hack?

I always carry the Dr. Melaxin Melting Calcium Volume Multi Balm with me. I apply it throughout the day, especially under my eyes, and I always use it before bed. It helps smooth the appearance of fine lines while leaving my under-eye area looking plump and hydrated.

What’s been your favourite beauty discovery from this year’s Her World x Shopee Beauty Awards, and why?
