Zendaya’s Charlotte Tilbury blush combo is proof pink blush isn’t just for a cute makeup look
Zendaya’s makeup artist Ernesto Casillas used two Charlotte Tilbury blushes to create her soft, romantic glow at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day London premiere. Here’s the exact blush combination—and why it works

Zendaya has been serving one ethereal beauty look after another, channelling her inner Greek goddess throughout The Odyssey press tour. The 29-year-old continued that dreamy streak at the London premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 29, where she reprises her role as MJ, Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) love interest.
Joining her reel-turned-real-life partner Tom Holland, alongside co-stars Florence Pugh and Marisa Tomei, Zendaya looked every bit the leading lady in a custom cream Tamara Ralph couture gown, intricately embroidered with crystal threads that mimicked a spider’s web and finished with a sculptural gold spider embellishment.
It’s been a whirlwind season for the power couple, who recently tied the knot and also star together in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated The Odyssey. Just as Zendaya is known for embracing method dressing with longtime stylist Law Roach, she takes a similarly thoughtful approach to beauty with makeup artist Ernesto Casillas, ensuring every detail complements the occasion.
“We wanted to channel a much lighter, romantic feel for this beauty look. We opted for flawless, yet minimal skin, contrasted with a pop of colour to flush the cheeks and a soft eye to create an effortless yet perfected finish,” said Casillas.
The look centred on one standout feature: a softly sculpted pink flush that proves blush can be elegant rather than overly sweet. The rest of the complexion was intentionally understated, allowing the rosy cheeks to take centre stage. Casillas blended the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk, a muted mauve-rose, across the cheeks before layering the Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow in Colour of Passion, a richer berry cream blush, for added warmth and dimension.
To amplify the glow, he swept the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Highlighter Fresh Healthy Glow Stick across the under-eye area and the high points of the cheeks, while the Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer in Shade 2 added subtle definition. Keeping the monochromatic palette intact, he finished the look with the iconic Pillow Talk Lipstick — the perfect my-lips-but-better nude.
Making a compelling case for barely-there eye makeup—a trend we’ve also spotted on K-pop star Jennie—Zendaya skipped eyeliner altogether. Instead, Casillas softly defined her eyes with the Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Stick in Mink Sculpt, finishing with a few coats of Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara for fluttery, natural-looking lashes.
As for the complexion, Casillas prepped Zendaya’s skin with Charlotte’s Magic Cream and Magic Serum Crystal Elixir before applying the Beautiful Skin Foundation in Shade 7N. He perfected the base with the Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer in Shade 5.5, then set everything with the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in Shade 2 and the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray for a radiant, long-lasting finish.
