Are you the type who loves to spend your evenings and weekends lost in a binge-watching session? If so, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on this curated selection of C-dramas that are currently airing or scheduled to debut throughout the rest of 2026.

Included in the lineup is the romantic series Love For You, now streaming on MangoTV and Viki. The drama features Song Weilong, a leading figure in the Chinese entertainment scene. He portrays a childhood friend who eventually falls for Zhang Jingyi’s character over the course of 32 episodes.

For those unfamiliar with Zhang, the 27-year-old Hunan-born star is an alumna of the prestigious Beijing Film Academy. She has built an impressive portfolio with notable performances in dramas including Run For Young (2020), All About My Mother (2021), and the recent Blossoms in Adversity (2024).

Zhang has quickly become a fan favourite globally, boasting a social media following of over 1.5 million on Instagram. She famously made headlines in 2025 during the Beijing International Film Festival when she hit the red carpet carrying an unexpected accessory: a simple yellow plastic bag. Yes, the kind that we use for our grocery shopping.

While netizens initially speculated it might be a Balenciaga design, it was actually a subtle nod to her film The One. Our thoughts? We find it an incredibly charming and clever way to spark conversations without the usual marketing pressure. Continue reading to discover more about her.

She’s just celebrated her birthday

Zhang just posted a series of photos to mark her 27th birthday. In the carousel post, she was spotted in a simple getup of a camisole and shorts, looking fresh out of bed. The Cancerian shares the same birth date (10 July) as other famous personalities, including Sofia Vergara and Jessica Simpson.

Fashion brands love her

Earlier in 2026, Wang galloped into the new lunar year with not one but two festive campaigns from international luxury brands. She graced the Year of the Horse campaigns for Burberry and Tod’s, for which she serves as Global Brand Ambassador and House Ambassador, respectively.

She’s the brand ambassador of Cartier

Zhang’s graceful demeanour has also caught the attention of luxury maison Cartier. In 2024, Cartier named Zhang its official Brand Ambassador, alongside other ambassadors, including Li Xian, Bai Jingting, and Song Jia.

Most recently, the actress appeared on Cartier’s Love & 520 campaigns with her fellow leading actor Lixian, whom she played lovers with in the C-drama titled A Touch of Green

Beauty brands love her too

It’s not just fashion and jewellery brands that are smitten by Zhang. International beauty brands such as Lancôme and René Furterer have also engaged the fresh face beauty as their brand ambassador. In fact, Lancôme officially upgraded its partnerships with her and Zhang Linghe this week. Zhang Jingyi was appointed as a Brand Ambassador for the full Lancôme line, while Zhang Linghe became the Skincare Ambassador for the brand’s skincare line.

She’s not bothered by imperfections

While it is standard for stars to feel constantly pressured to have a flawless digital presence, Zhang doesn’t appear to be caught up with looking perfect on her Instagram. The actress had posted snippets of herself embracing the humidity, showcasing her slightly dishevelled and damp locks.

In fact, scroll through her Instagram feed, and you’ll notice that Zhang isn’t afraid of showing her bare-faced self. She’s been sharing many after-work photos that often show her with minimal makeup. If there’s anything to learn from her here, it’s to always embrace your true and natural self.
