When it comes to putting together a beauty experience, leave it to Shiseido Group. United by the theme “When Beauty Comes to Light”, the Japanese beauty giant brings together eight of its brands, Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Nars, Drunk Elephant, Anessa, Elixir, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez, for the first time in a multi-brand pop-up at Paragon.
Inspired by Shiseido Group’s rich heritage and origins in Ginza, Tokyo, dating back to 1872, the pop-up brings together the group’s expertise across advanced skin science, artistry-led colour, high-performance sun care and fragrance. Each brand has its own dedicated space, spotlighting signature products alongside new launches and innovations.
Highlights include Shiseido’s new Vital Perfection Intensive SculptDefine Serum; Clé de Peau Beauté’s new Restorative Cream Supreme from its dermatological and regenerative science-inspired Supreme Age Artisans collection; and Nars’ Insatiable Liquid Blush. There’s also the peptide-rich Protini™ Polypeptide Cream from Drunk Elephant, sunscreen innovations from Anessa including its Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk and Perfect UV Brush-On Powder, as well as skin-enlivening sets from Elixir, such as its Youthful Glow Set and Power Trio Set.
On the fragrance front, Issey Miyake will spotlight L’Eau d’Issey Eau Essentielle Eau de Parfum, while Narciso Rodriguez spotlights essentiel Eau de Parfum, continuing the house’s signature exploration of musc.
Beyond browsing and shopping, the activation invites visitors to complete seven “Journey of Light” stations across the eight brands, with a Japanese glass candy available for redemption upon completion.
There are also several interactive beauty experiences to try. At Shiseido, visitors can enjoy a SculptDefine Express Facial Treatment and experience Japanese sculpting massage techniques. Over at Clé de Peau Beauté, the Supreme Revitalising Eye Renewal Treatment focuses on the delicate eye area, while Nars offers a 15-minute flash makeover. Drunk Elephant will offer skin consultations, Elixir will showcase its AI skin analysis and Anessa will let visitors experience a UV camera test.
For those looking to get hands-on, there are also two lifestyle workshops. “A Light of Your Own”, a laser-cut lamp-making workshop, takes place on 25 and 26 September, while “Connected in Red”, a weaving workshop where participants can create and personalise their own pouch, takes place on 25 and 27 September.
Both lifestyle workshops are priced at $80 per session, with the full workshop fee redeemable for Metro vouchers valid across participating Shiseido Group brands.
Beauty workshops to book
There is also a line-up of one-hour workshops hosted by the individual brands.
On 26 September, Nars’ See Your Skin in Its Best Light workshop shares techniques for creating a radiant complexion using the Light Reflecting collection and Insatiable Liquid Blush. Elixir’s The Art of Collagen Beauty introduces its collagen-focused skincare approach, including the newly renewed Total V Firming Cream, while Shiseido’s The Art of Sculpted Beauty explores Vital Perfection and at-home techniques for a firmer, more sculpted-looking complexion.
On 27 September, Clé de Peau Beauté’s Supreme Age Artisans workshop spotlights the new Restorative Cream Supreme alongside expert skincare techniques. Anessa’s The Art of Protection delves into the science behind effective sunscreen application and helps participants discover the right sunscreen for their skin.
For fragrance lovers, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez’s The Art of Fragrance explores scent notes, emotion and the art of fragrance layering.
Brand-led workshops start from $30 per session. Workshop fees are redeemable against regular-priced purchases from the respective brands on the same day, and each session comes with an exclusive workshop gift.
And if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, there’s another reason to shop: visitors can enjoy 20 per cent off purchases with no minimum spend required, alongside other gifts-with-purchase including flower charms and mini mooncakes.
The Shiseido Group When Beauty Comes to Light Pop-up is happening now through 27 September, from 10am to 9pm daily, at Paragon Atrium, Level 1, 290 Orchard Road, Singapore 238859. Workshops can be booked through Metro’s booking page.
