In honour of International Women’s Day, Her World and Clé de Peau Beauté hosted an intimate dinner celebrating women’s accomplishments, meaningful conversation, and radiance

International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate women’s achievements while reflecting on the progress still to be made. In this spirit, Her World partnered with Clé de Peau Beauté—a brand that champions the power of radiance and empowers women to shine in every aspect of their lives—to host an exclusive soirée for thought leaders and entrepreneurs from across the Her World community.

The event took place on 4 March at Brasserie Astoria, within the historic Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall.

Letty, Beauty Editor at Her World, delivered a warm welcome, followed by Celeste Ng, Brand Manager for Clé de Peau Beauté at Shiseido, who reaffirmed the brand’s mission to supporting and uplifting women.

That commitment is more than just skin deep. Founded in Japan in 1982, Clé de Peau Beauté has long placed scientific research at the heart of its innovations, pioneering the concept of “Skin Intelligence”—the belief that skin has the innate ability to distinguish beneficial from harmful stimuli and maintain its optimal condition. While this philosophy drives the brand’s pursuit of radiant skin, it also reflects a broader belief: that unlocking potential, whether in skin or in life, begins with nurturing what lies within.

As Nicole Kidman, the brand’s newly minted Global Brand Ambassador, puts it: “Radiance is freedom—the freedom to choose, to trust yourself, to rise again. It is a quiet strength that lives within and carries you forward.”

This idea of empowerment is also embedded in one of the brand’s most iconic products, The Serum. More than a skincare essential designed to hydrate, smooth and enhance luminosity, the formula represents a larger mission.

Since 2019, Clé de Peau Beauté has partnered with UNICEF to empower girls through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education and skills-building opportunities. With women representing less than 30 per cent of the global STEAM workforce, closing the gender gap in STEAM education is increasingly urgent. Through this partnership, more than 12.9 million girls have gained access to STEAM education and training. In 2026, the brand renewed its commitment with a new goal to support an additional 7.3 million girls by 2029. To sustain this impact, Clé de Peau Beauté has pledged US$6 million over three years — the largest private-sector contribution to UNICEF’s Gender Equality Programme.

Against this backdrop, guests savoured a tantalising three-course menu while connecting over specially prepared conversation cards designed to spark meaningful dialogue—an evening of celebration that mirrored the brand’s philosophy of bringing women together to inspire one another.

For many attendees, the evening was as much about connection as it was about celebration. “It’s a great event that brings together amazing like-minded women who are so passionate about what they believe in and excited to give back,” shared Eunice Yeo, founder of Peace of Art SG.

Biomedical researcher Dr Li Jingmei reflected on the meaningful conversations sparked during the evening: “It was wonderful to realise that even though everyone comes from different backgrounds, we share so much in common.”

For aesthetic physician Dr Rachel Ho, the diversity of perspectives around the table was particularly memorable. “I’m really glad I was seated with women from such interesting professions—from STEM to tech and research—and that we could come together as a community.”

Others echoed the same sentiment of connection. “I got to reconnect with women I already knew and meet so many new ones from different backgrounds,” said human connection specialist and author Simone Heng.

As a thoughtful gesture, each attendee received a curated selection of Clé de Peau Beauté’s signature products, including The Serum, Hydro-Softening Essence Lotion, and Advanced Protective Day Cream—each crafted to nourish, protect, and illuminate the skin.

These luxurious offerings allowed guests to bring a touch of the evening’s radiance home, extending the experience beyond the soirée itself.
