Designer brands that Blackpink wore in their newest MV, Ice Cream
Every Blackpink music video is full of incredible fashion moments

After their collaboration with Lady Gaga in May for Sour Candy, K-pop girl group Blackpink is back with singer-actress Selena Gomez for their latest summer hit Ice Cream. Unlike the strong and powerful girl crush styles for their earlier single How You Like That, the members show off their cute and lovely sides in this sweet and fluffy music video. Here’s what they wore.
At the beginning of the video, Lisa is seen wearing a string crop top from new fashion brand Namilia (American diva Jennifer Lopez also wore their outfits in her concert last year). The top’s rugged design which resembles armour and the glove from Sevali on her right arm makes Lisa seem like a tough female warrior.
We get major vacation vibes from Jennie who is lounging in a GCDS SS'20 dress with Care Bear prints and leather shorts that show off her shapely legs.
To fit the song’s summer theme, the members are dressed in swimsuits for some of their outfits in this music video. Here, Jisoo is wearing a Tory Burch floral-patterned swimsuit from their Pre-Fall 2020 collection, together with Dior shorts and a paper boy cap.
Known as the human Chanel, Jennie is dressed in various outfits from the brand for this video including these pastel pants from their Resort 2020 collection. Differing from the runway model’s gender-neutral look, Jennie opted to pair the pants with a fluffy organza crop top from Lirika Motoshi, but also added a Chanel metal belt to give the sweet-looking outfit a more stylish look.
Rosé’s Dalmation-print corset and ostrich feather skirt are from Ashley Williams’ FW’2020 collection. Together, they exude a playful and fashionable vibe.
You may have noticed that besides ice cream and candy elements, there were also many cute animals who made their appearance in the music video. For instant, one moment Rosé was in a Dalmation-print top, and in the very next scene, she is playing with an adorable dog in the garden while dressed in a Moschino FW'2020 floral dress.
When the four members come together in the ice cream shop, they look like they are meeting for high tea in their elegant monochrome outfits and hats. Here, Lisa’s quirky one shoulder dress is from American brand Area’s FW 2019 collection.
The interesting cutouts in Jisoo’s David Koma dress from their SS’2020 collection give the illusion that she’s wearing two separate pieces instead of just one dress.
When Lisa is rapping, she is full of swag in her purple fur coat from Area’s FW’19 collection, hot pants and lace stockings which give her a glamorous rock chick vibe.
In the kitty zone, the members are holding ice cream cones filled with cat pillows instead of ice cream, how cute is that! Here, Lisa is wearing a baby blue blouse from Thai brand Sretsis’s FW’2020 collection together with cute denim shorts from Alessandra Rich.
Jisoo’s pink knitted dress is from French upcycle fashion brand Sevali’s debut collection. We applaud Blackpink for not only supporting up-and-coming fashion designers, but also for using their influence to raise awareness about sustainability.
Towards the end of the video, the Blackpink members get dressed up in striking crochet outfits from UK independent brand Fluffy. Jennie, who looks sweet in a pink cardigan here, even got pink hair to complete her look!
Rosé looks stunning in her eye-popping neon green sunflower crochet crop top and matching mini skirt from Fluffy. It is worth noting that the brand’s clothes are all handmade by artisans in a small village in Indonesia, and they don’t use wool but only 100% cotton crotchet. A “Fluffy Fund” has also been set up to ensure that a percentage of every sold item will go directly to the artisans in order to support this traditional craft.
In the ending scenes, the members are having a blast driving their pink mini cars and Rosé, who is dressed in a sexy red Dyspnea sequin bodice and a black and red checkered skirt from Alessandra Rich looks just the part of a race car driver with attitude.
