The glitz and glamour of Singapore’s biggest night in entertainment, the Star Awards 2024, unfolded last night (21 April) at The Theatre at Mediacorp.

Over 150 hopefuls vied for a collection of awards, making it a night of triumph not just for acting excellence, but for show-stopping fashion as well.

Jeremy Chan, this year’s Best Actor, looked every bit the part in a sophisticated white Dolce & Gabbana suit. On the other hand, Best Actress Kym Ng opted for timeless elegance, gracing the ceremony in a shimmering silver gown that radiated simplicity and grace.

Below, we round up our favourite looks from the night. From Jesseca Liu’s glamorous Nicole+Felicia gown to Desmond Tan’s Louis Vuitton suit, here’s who slayed at the Star Awards 2024.

1. Jesseca Liu

Jesseca Liu stole the spotlight at the Star Awards 2024 with a show-stopping black evening gown. Her choice? A stunning strapless number from the Nicole+Felicia 2024 Autumn and Winter collection. The dress hugged her figure flawlessly, and the strapless neckline exuded classic Hollywood glamour.

The true magic, however, lay in the details. The white rose sleeves that draped over her shoulders added touch of unexpected romance to the sleek silhouette.

2. Rui En

You can never go wrong with a black dress. Rui En slayed with a striking black one-shoulder gown from Solace London, shimmering Roger Vivier Viv’ Choc Strass heels and a dazzling Boite De Nuit evening bag.

3. Rebecca Lim

Highlighter green isn’t for the faint of heart, but Rebecca Lim absolutely rocked it.

4. Charmaine Sheh

Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh turned heads on the red carpet at Star Awards 2024.

Clad in a flowing Zimmermann midi dress, the floral pattern highlighted her legs and brought a touch of springtime elegance to the event.

5. Desmond Tan

The new dad, who snagged the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes award, looked absolutely dashing in his Louis Vuitton suit. Actually, is there even anything Desmond doesn’t look good in?

6. Ayden Sng

Once again, Ayden Sng has forgotten his shirt at the Star Awards. The actor, who won the My Pick! The Show Stealer award and Most Popular Rising Star, swept all of us off our feet as he showed off his rock hard chest on the red carpet.

7. Hazelle Teo

DJ and Star Awards host Hazelle Teo made a striking statement on the red carpet in what she confessed to be her “boldest look yet”.

She dazzled in a sparkling glam top, flaunting a daring transparent bare-back look.

“Wearing S$10,000 worth on top, so God bless I don’t snap any of the diamonds!” she wrote on Instagram.

“As for the bottom, I am in love with how it’s both a pair of trousers and a skirt at the same time. Two looks in totally different angles. I like unconventional. So much!”

Her jewellery, including rings, bangles, and earrings, totalled an impressive S$70,000 last night, a far cry from her usual choice of “70-cents earrings from Taobao”.

8. Chantalle Ng

Lin Meijiao’s daughter ate and did not leave a single crumb in her Sportmax crochet dress.

The dress featured a daring mesh cutout, offering glimpses of skin and a touch of mystery. This contemporary twist added an undeniable edge to the design, which perfectly flattered her slender figure.
