A first look at Dior Beauty’s new online boutique and holiday collection

You can now stock up on your favourite skincare, makeup and fragrances without leaving the house

Your holiday shopping is about to get so much easier, thanks to the new Dior Beauty online boutique that’s just launched on October 7. Following closely behind Chanel’s similar e-store that launched earlier this year, this online boutique will make the full range of the French luxury brand’s skincare, makeup and fragrance offerings a breeze to shop online.

To replicate the advantages of shopping in-person, the online boutique will also offer services like gift packaging and engraving on select products. What’s most exciting is that the brand is planning exclusives for the online store to make the shopping experience sweeter. First up: a pre-launch of the house’s upcoming holiday makeup collection.

Purchases from the Dior Beauty online boutique come with five complimentary samples, as well as free local delivery for a limited time.

Titled ‘The Atelier of Dreams’, this dreamy range is meant to pay tribute to the house’s historic atelier address in Paris at 30 Avenue Montaigne that is, incidentally, also re-opening this year after renovations. Key colours include wearable earthy tones with gold-flecked shimmer – best seen in the 5 Couleurs Couture eyeshadow palettes, where the powders are embossed with the facade of the Avenue Montaigne building.

The Rouge Dior Minaudiere is ostensibly the holiday collection’s standout limited-edition creation.

Another noteworthy limited edition creation: the Rouge Dior Minaudiere lipstick set. The golden case is made from 23 different pieces, and can be carried as a makeup clutch or slung on the shoulder thanks to a slim chain. The whole set also comes with a refillable limited edition of the Rouge Dior Collector lipstick, along with three additional refill shades.

Out of the box, you’ll find the house’s iconic 999, a classic red shade that dates back to 1953 when Christian Dior put it on his models for fashion shows. The refills are just as lovely: Pink Rose is a satiny vintage pink, Red Pansy a festive matte red-brown, and Winter Poppy a fiery red with a velvet finish.

To mark the launch of this online boutique, Dior is also offering complimentary shipping, gift wrapping and engraving on select items for a limited time. Below, a closer look at the holiday collection which is already available online, and will hit boutiques and department stores from October 15.
