To complement the retro theme of their wedding reception at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, Felicia and Wee included elements of their heritage and upbringing.
These included an interactive reception area with a masak-masak booth, old-school food carts as well as backdrops. There was even one inspired by a kopitiam Felicia's dad used to run. Wee adds, "We had to dig up old photos as a design reference as it was in the pre-internet era!"

Andie and Mark skipped the cake cutting and champagne fountain, and instead of a second march-in, the couple danced in from backstage and enacted a skit of their daily life with a voice-over. The groom and groomsmen also performed a Backstreet Boys dance number for which they’d practised over a year.
"We also surprised our closest relatives and friends with a video of nostalgic photos that were accompanied by their quotes of wisdom to show our gratitude and love," says Andie.
