Breakups and being cheated on are never easy. Over the past few months, several Singapore creators have gone viral after candidly sharing their experiences of difficult relationships and alleged infidelity. Here are the stories that have captured the internet’s attention.
Mabel’s emotional YouTube exposé

22-year-old content creator Mabel, who posts under the handle @mabelkeeee, uploaded a nearly 50-minute YouTube video on 15 July titled How I found out my fiancé of 7 years was cheating on me.
In the video, which has amassed hundreds of thousands of views, Mabel shares her account of why she decided to end her engagement after seven years together.
According to Mabel, she began noticing what she described as “red flags”, including discovering a handwritten note comparing her with another woman, and frequent trips to what she referred to as “Hougang Block ABC” which she said raised questions about her then-fiancé’s movements.
Mabel says she never received confirmation from either party that her former fiancé had been unfaithful. Instead, she explains that she ultimately decided to end the relationship after he allegedly told her he had “lost feelings” for her.
Her former fiancé has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of writing.
Laura Lee’s series of TikTok videos
Singapore content creator Laura Lee also drew widespread attention after posting a series of TikTok videos in June discussing her experience with an older man she said she had met through a work collaboration.
In one video, Laura alleges that the man repeatedly asked to visit her home under the pretext of studying together and that she often felt pressured to accommodate his requests.
She later participated in the viral “I’m an astronaut, you’re a cheater” trend, sharing photos of herself alongside a man whom she alleged had cheated on her.
In a subsequent update posted on 14 June, Laura said she had received numerous messages from others following her videos. She also stated that she was not prepared to make broader allegations publicly without evidence, adding that she would only do so if she could substantiate any claims.
She ended the video by encouraging other women who may have experienced similar situations to know that “how you feel is valid.”
Separately...
Around the same period, another Singapore creator, Natalie (@naploes), shared a cryptic storytime video recounting an encounter with a restaurant owner whom she alleged repeatedly asked for her phone number and attempted to visit her home despite allegedly being engaged.
Some social media users speculated that Natalie’s account referred to the same individual discussed in Laura’s videos.
However, neither creator identified the person by name, and there has been no official confirmation linking the two accounts.
The PropertyLimBrothers controversy
The recent stories have also prompted some social media users to revisit the controversy involving PropertyLimBrothers earlier this year.
In January, videos circulated online that appeared to show PropertyLimBrothers chief executive officer Melvin Lim and content creator Grayce Tan at an office unit, with audio that many social media users interpreted as intimate in nature.
The videos led to widespread speculation online about an alleged extramarital affair.
Following the incident, both Lim and Tan resigned from the company. PropertyLimBrothers subsequently announced that vice-president of operations Marc Chan would serve as interim chief executive officer.
