Malaysian heiress Chryseis Tan to wed today!

Seven months after their engagement, Malaysian heiress Chryseis Tan, 29, from the Berjaya Group, and Faliq Nasimuddin, 32, the son of the late founder of Malaysian conglomerate Naza Group, will tie the knot today.

The news of their wedding date was made known via Chryseis’s Instagram post, where she posted a photo from her pre-wedding shoot in New Zealand on Thursday, with the caption: “One more sleep to #chrysfaliqeverafter”.

CEO of Berjaya Times Square, and daughter to one of Malaysia’s biggest tycoons, Vincent Tan – whom Forbes valued at US$820 million (S$1.1 billion) this year, her engagement to Faliq made waves as it was the coming together of two family business empires as well.

The power couple had met as students in an international school, and started officially dating in 2014.

While travelling in Marrakesh, Morocco last year, Faliq went down on one knee and popped the question in a romantic setting with a stunning diamond ring.

Since then, Chryseis have shared some of her wedding preparation on her Instagram account.

This includes photos from her pre-wedding shoots – taken in multiple locations like Venice and New Zealand.

She also posted photos from her tropical themed bridal shower that took place on Wednesday, with a backdrop which reads : “From Miss to Mrs”.
