Love was definitely in the air this instalment of Star Awards 2026. Celebrity couples turned the night into a date night affair, serving up plenty of swoon-worthy moments throughout the evening.

Jesseca Liu and Jeremy Chan

Fresh from her Best Actress win, Jesseca Liu had one more surprise waiting backstage—a heartfelt message from her husband, Jeremy Chan.

The moment lingered long after the cameras stopped rolling, as the couple shared a quiet, warm embrace. We even spotted Jeremy sweetly carrying her handbag backstage, a small but telling gesture of support.

Hazelle Teo and James Wong

Behind every successful woman is a supportive partner—and pianist James Wong, who is engaged to 933 DJ Hazelle Teo, proved just that.

In a reel posted by James, he captured his emotional reaction to Hazelle’s first Most Popular award milestone, cheering her on with unfiltered enthusiasm. The musician, six years her junior, has also been actively rallying votes online for his radio DJ fiancée, showing up as one of her loudest supporters both on and off stage.

A couple who have been side by side since the very start of their careers, Star Search 2024 alumni and breakdancers Gladys Bay and Marcus Sim even entered the talent competition as a married duo—going on to advance together to the finals, where Gladys finished as runner-up.

Married since 2023, the pair delivered one of the night’s most emotional moments when Gladys took home the Best Rising Star award for her performance in Under The Net. As she delivered her acceptance speech, Marcus was visibly moved, tearing up in the audience in a quietly powerful show of pride and support.

Not a dry eye in sight. While this marks Hong Ling’s fifth win in the category, it was a particularly special milestone for her husband Nick, who clinched his first Star Awards trophy after 14 years in showbiz. Needless to say, the actor was clearly emotional as he took to the stage. In his acceptance speech, Nick referenced an old adage: “It’s often said that you should start a family before building a career. I never understood this until (Hong Ling) showed me what it means to have a family. With this supportive family, I was able to work on my career.”

Tasha Low and Zhang Ze Tong

Just before their sweet on-stage moment later in the night, Tasha Low and Zhang Ze Tong took home the My Pick! Award for Favourite CP at Star Awards 2026. Adding a playful twist to the win, Tasha previously revealed on the red carpet that if she had to pick another on-screen favourite CP, she would choose Bai Ah Li—the character played by Tyler. Are we sensing a love triangle brewing?
