Take mum on an exploration of mesmerising scents and decadent treats with Pan Pacific Orchard’s new afternoon tea experience at the hotel’s Florette bar. It has teamed up with luxury Singapore-born Maison de L’Asie to unveil an afternoon tea and perfume pairing.

This unfolds through three chapters, with scents inspired by Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand, and desserts specially crafted to pair with each fragrant. Think a caramel and chamomile pastry cream choux puff to go with a delicate floral Mother X Love perfume to tropical fruit scents and pastries reminiscent of Bali, and bold, zingy creations that evoke the cityscape of Bangkok.

The savouries aren’t paired with perfumes, but are good nonetheless, from an earthy Trio of Mushroom Ragout Tartlet to spicy and vibrant Thai-Style Beef Salad Tart, as well as a  juicy Smoked Duck and Ripe Mango Sandwich.

When: From May 6 to end July, 2024

Dive into a tempting spread of bites, from a delicate Strawerry Rose Charlott to a luscious Durian Craquelin Puff, and the Coconut Matcha Cake. Within Hilton Singapore Orchard’s elegant lobby lounge sits Ginger.Lily and its Nikkei-inspired afternoon tea set.

Expect decadent bites that marry traditional Japanese techniques and vibrant Latin American ingredients, from tart ceviche-style salmon to a trio of torched Nikkei-inspired nigiri. Next up is a Shishamo Bun, featuring crispy fish nestled between Nikkei bread, spiced up with sriracha, jalapenos, and furikake. Then, enjoy a robust Kurobuta Pork Sando with tonkatsu sauce and black garlic aioli.

Conrad Centennial Singapore’s Language Of Flowers afternoon tea is back at its Lobby Lounge, with new floral-themed treats to sample.

Each set starts with a Chrysanthemum Rise welcome drink of chrysanthemum tea, cherry blossom syrup and calamansi juice, before moving on to morsels like Sakura, which pairs sakura mousse with raspberry jam, red velvet sponge, almond sable and honeycomb, as well as Osmanthus, an osmanthus cream and jelly concoction with Joconde sponge and sable dough. Savouries include crab rillette on brioche, smoked salmon and trout caviar on hazelnut bread.
