Whether you’re looking for something spooky to watch this Halloween, a new K-drama series like ‘Genie, Make A Wish’ on Netflix, or the latest Physical: Asia, ahead, we’ve rounded up some of the top shows that you can watch on your favourite streaming platforms this October.
Physical: Asia

The show that we’ve all been waiting for is here. Enter Physical:Asia. After the success that followed Physical: 100, the franchise is introducing its first-ever nation-vs-nation showdown, where 48 of the region’s strongest and most skilled competitors go head-to-head. Representing eight countries, the lineup includes heavy-hitters like boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, Olympic skeleton champion Yun Sung-bin, and former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker. Expect bigger challenges, bolder strategies, and a whole lot of muscle power as they battle it out not just for glory, but for their flag. Physical: Asia will be available on Netflix from 28 October
The Resurrected

Shu Qi and Lee Sinje are making their Chinese-language Netflix series debut in The Resurrected — and it’s not your typical crime thriller. Genie, Make A Wish

This new show on Netflix isn’t like your average K-drama. Here, Ka-young (played by Bae Suzy) is a woman who keeps her emotions under lock and key — no empathy, no attachments, just survival. That is, until she unknowingly frees Iblis (played by Kim Woo-bin), a genie who’s been imprisoned for a thousand years. The catch? He’s actually Satan in disguise, determined to prove that humans are selfish and easily swayed. As he offers her three wishes, his chaotic, tempting energy starts to collide with her perfectly controlled world — and somewhere between manipulation and magic, an unexpected romance begins to take shape.

Victoria Beckham

Following the success of Beckham’s documentary, this new docuseries follows the life of Victoria Beckham, offering an intimate look at her multifaceted life and career. The series takes viewers through her journey from her early days and stratospheric rise with the Spice Girls, to her very public love story with football legend David Beckham, and her fierce determination to carve out her place in the unforgiving world of high fashion. As she gears up to debut her Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week, the series blends archive footage with present-day moments to reveal the pressure, passion and persistence that shaped her into the woman she is today.

Bad Influencer

Designer bags are the ultimate status symbol, but in Bad Influencer, things get a little less glossy. The series follows a single mum who secretly makes counterfeit luxury bags to stay afloat. Desperate to climb out of debt, she strikes an unexpected partnership with a self-absorbed influencer who sees dollar signs (and clout) in every fake. What starts as a risky side hustle spirals into a world of deception, ambition and designer drama.
Bad Influencer will be available on Netflix from 31 October
True Haunting

Looking for a show to watch this Halloween? True Haunting on Netflix is the one to watch. The series blends eerie reenactments with real-life interviews to retell paranormal encounters exactly as the survivors experienced them. And yes — horror master James Wan, the mind behind The Conjuring and Saw, is the executive producer, so you can expect lots of goosebumps.

Top Guns: The Next Generation

If you loved the adrenaline of Top Gun, this one’s for you. National Geographic’s new docuseries dives into the real-life world of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps student pilots as they tackle the most demanding phase of strike fighter training. Here, you’ll get rare access inside the cockpit, and into the lives of these future fighter pilots, as they take on high-stress dogfights, nail-biting carrier landings and backbreaking drills. Beyond the action, the series reveals the personal sacrifices, pressure and grit it takes to earn the legendary “wings of gold.”

However, when Yoo Meri finds out that she won a lottery for a townhouse, she’s forced to work together with another man called Wooju, who shares the same name as her ex-fiance, to prove to the lottery board that she’s happily married and is still eligible to claim the house.
