Don’t let your SkillsFuture credit go to waste. These AI courses could transform your career
From AI for marketers to no-code HR tools, here are the highest-rated courses to future-proof your career before your credits expire

Artificial intelligence may be powering the future, but it’s reshaping the present – and fast.
At the SCWO Summit on Action for Gender Equality (SAGE) 2025, Minister Masagos Zulkifli highlighted that the rise of AI is reshaping the way we work and think, and called for a shift in mindset to keep pace with this transformation.
“AI-driven tools can optimise workflows by taking on routine or repetitive tasks,” he noted, allowing us to focus on higher-value work while improving flexibility, particularly for caregivers and women juggling multiple roles. But he also cautioned that job displacement is a real risk, especially if we’re slow to adapt. Reskilling and upskilling, he stressed, is essential.
The urgency is echoed by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), which has been steadily building an AI-fluent workforce as part of its National AI Strategy 2.0. According to a pulse survey referenced in IMDA’s upcoming Singapore Digital Economy report, nearly 3 in 4 workers in Singapore are already using AI tools at work. Of those, 85 per cent reported higher productivity, better quality of work, and improved efficiency. AI has become less of a futuristic concept and more of a daily companion at work.
And yet, even with SkillsFuture credits sitting quietly in our SingPass wallets, many of us haven’t touched them. As one of our recent articles pointed out, 70 per cent of eligible Singaporeans still haven’t redeemed their $500 SkillsFuture Credit top-up which expires on 31 December 2025. That’s a whole lot of upskilling potential being ignored.
For the uninitiated, SkillsFuture is Singapore’s national movement to encourage lifelong learning and skills development. All citizens aged 25 and above receive a $500 credit (non-expiring), while those aged 40+ receive an additional $4,000 in mid-career support. The 2020 top-up of $500, however, vanishes at midnight this year, making this the perfect time to future-proof your role, especially with AI on everyone’s radar.
