What was it that Beyonce once sang about girls running the world?

Well, we completely agree here at Her World and herworldPLUS; we celebrate women’s diversity, strength and beauty wholeheartedly. We also understand that success no longer holds just one meaning.

This year the Young Woman Achiever Forum will consist of two separate sessions to fully represent the vast spectrum of women achievers here in Singapore: One for entrepreneurs, and one for the corporate powerhouses.

So whether you’re a recent graduate climbing the first starting on the lower rungs of the corporate ladder, or an OL who recently quit her nine-to-five to start her own business, there’ll be experts in both fields to give you their insights into what you need to do for a successful career.

At this year’s Young Woman Achiever Forum you will hear from some highly successful women in their respective fields, which means no question will go unanswered. Sample issues up for debate among our panelists: How can career women get to the top — and stay there? What does it take to for an entrepreneur to get her business off the ground and grow it over time?

Our experts range from Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Mdm Zuraidah Abdullah, recipient of the Her World Woman of the Year 2015 award; to Simrat Sawhney, the Southeast Asian head of Facebook’s client partnerships department; and, of course, Rachel Lim, co-founder of the local online fashion store Love, Bonito.

Register now to join this celebration of diverse women and success, and meet some of the most inspiring Singapore women!

After all, we’re stronger when we band together. Per queen Bey: “Now let’s get in formation!”

The Young Woman Achiever Forum will be held on Saturday, 19 March 2016 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm at the indie movie/events venue The Projector. It’s open to attendees aged 18 to 35, and tickets are priced at $15 per person.
