Every October, major breast cancer charities gather together to organise events to raise funds for research into the cause, prevention and cure of the condition. Which is why these brands are not only hoping to generate honest conversations around it but to also raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women in Singapore. And over the past 40 years, cases of breast cancer diagnoses has more than doubled. But with early detection, survival rate in its early stages is 92 per cent.
The BCF is a non-profit organisation in Singapore and they are dedicated to promoting early detection and provide support to those affected by the disease. Their mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening condition.
And here’s what you can do to help:

Hidden in the shadows are the caretakers and families of the sufferers and to raise awareness also helps to shed light on how breast cancer is not just a woman’s problem.
