Long celebrated for building strength, flexibility, and deep core stability, Pilates has since become synonymous with the polished, aspirational ‘clean girl’ aesthetic. From easing desk-induced aches to enhancing weight training routines, it has become a go-to for just about everyone, including celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

But while the benefits speak for themselves, the cost can be a real buzzkill. Reformers, class packs, boutique studios — it all adds up. The good news? More studios in Singapore are offering complimentary trial classes, so you can feel the (core) burn without burning a hole in your wallet.

If you’re on a search for a studio to sample, here are 11 ways you can try a Pilates class for free — no strings attached.

Virgin Active

Curious about club-style fitness? First-time guests can sign up for a complimentary trial via its website — perfect for experiencing everything Virgin Active has to offer, from its signature classes (including reformer and mat Pilates) to its high-end recovery zones.

Stick with it as a ‘Long Termer’ ($66–$73/week, for a minimum of 12 months) and you’ll enjoy 50% off your first 8 weeks.

Virgin Active operates five locations in Singapore, including in Paya Lebar, Tanjong Pagar, and Holland Village.

Club Pilates

Start strong with a free introductory class at one of the world’s largest Pilates chains. Club Pilates offers small group Reformer-based workouts of 8–12 attendees per class, tailored to different levels and goals — from sculpting to more cardio-focused formats.

Beyond the free trial, flexible memberships (4, 8, or unlimited classes a month) make it easy to commit on your own terms.

Club Pilates has six studios in Singapore, including in Orchard, Woodlands, and Serangoon.
