Switch to blue plates

According to a study by Belgian scientists, the colour of our plates can affect how much we eat. 

The colour that affects us the least? Blue.

The study found that people who served themselves pasta in Alfredo sauce on a white plate and pasta with tomato sauce on a red plate tend to scoop more food out for themselves.

 

Eat your lean proteins

Lean proteins like tuna, meat and so much more can help keep you full for longer so you don’t feel the need to snack so much.

Write what you eat

Doing so helps you visualise just how much you’re eating.

 

Sleep in a cold room

According to a study published in a journal, Diabetes, sleeping in a cold room can help heighten your body’s metabolism and increase your body’s ability to lose weight.

Eat more fibre

In order for your body to pass out everything you eat, your body needs fibre to bulk waste up and help it pass through more easily.

Plus, couple fibre with some protein and you’ll be kept full for a long time.

 

Sleep and wake early

When your body gets enough rest, your metabolism will be better able to regulate itself and ensure more effective weight loss throughout the day.

 

Do weights training

If you’re not a fan of cardio workouts, do weight training.

According to a study by Harvard, women who did weight training could prevent belly fat from sticking around so much.
