It was an exciting weekend in Venice as British-Lebanese human rights barrister Amal Alamuddin tied the knot with Hollywood’s most famous ex-bachelor, George Clooney, on September 27, 2014.
The couple, according to the details revealed by Vogue US, People Magazine and Hello! Magazine, wanted a wedding that was “romantic and elegant” with a white-and-yellow colour palette, and it showed in their outfits – by Oscar de la Renta and Giorgio Armani.

Amal looked every inch the blushing bride in her custom floor-length off-shoulder ivory beaded tulle dress with Chantilly lace applique, and her cathedral-length veil also made of Chantilly lace.
George on the other hand, enlisted the help of his long-time friend, Giorgio Armani, to come up with his black tuxedo from the designer’s made to measure collection.
