From slinky, bedazzled sheaths to elaborate ballgowns, the stunning creations from Calla Bridal by Casey Loh are all about vintage glamour. In this interview, he talks about his signature style, why brides love his services, and more.

What are you best known for?
“My signature style has always been classic and elegant, with a touch of sensuality,” says founder and designer Casey Loh.

Your favourite materials are…
“Laces and soft, flowy fabrics like silk, satin, chiffon, Italian crepe satin – which has a satin face and crepe back – and French tulle.”

Do you customise dresses?
“Yes. In fact, I encourage a bride to opt for a beautiful customised dress if she has the budget for it. Such a gown is always meaningful and reveals the bride’s unique character. I also like to get to know my brides better before I actually begin a design to suit their personality.”

What do brides love about your services?
“I take my brides through the entire process – from choosing the right design and fabrics to the cut, and even styling the overall look. I believe my friendliness and easy-going attitude are a big plus!”
