what The 2 1/2 hour treatment starts with the Harmony Massage, which includes an exfoliating scrub of beeswax, soya bean and brown algae. The massage oil is a blend of Vitamin E, and sweet almond, grapeseed, macadamia and rosemary oils, and is said to provide hydrating, skin rejuvenating and stress relieving benefits. This is followed by a 15-minute body wrap to allow better absorption, and a shower.

After removing my makeup, my therapist started the Aroma Essential Facial (75 minutes, using Decleor products) using the Deep Relaxing Sensorial Balm, followed by a deep cleansing ritual with the Reflect De Purete to purify and smoothen the skin. After pointing out that I have sensitive skin, she proceeded with the Rose Treatment Ritual, which includes the Aromessance Rose D’Orient Serum, as well as a massage with the Soothing Night Balm to comfort and soften the skin.
To complete the facial treatment: A 2-in-1 Dark Circle & Eye Wrinkle Eraser cream and SPF Energising Smoothing Cream to brighten up skin tone and wipe away signs of fatigue.

verdict My therapist was polite, informative and professional. I was quite impressed with the massage and scrub which was very relaxing and I actually fell asleep. I would recommend this for brides with back acne as it helps banish clogged pores. While the body wrap was slightly uncomfortable, but not unbearable, the smooth velvety skin I got afterwards made it worthwhile! I have sensitive skin and facial treatments often leave me with blotchy skin but I was surprised to find that I looked dewy and radiant afterwards.

The Perfect Escape Treatment (150 mins) is priced at $298+ ($518+ for two) and is only available until 31st August 2015. Aramsa – The Garden Spa is located at 1382 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, Bishan Park 2, tel: 6456-6556.
