From The Straits Times    |

“We wanted a classic Hong Kong-style banquet as I am from there. Our wedding honoured our parents and grandparents who gave us all that we have today.

A winding staircase lent vintage glamour to this picture. See the couple’s second portrait, as well as others, here.

Dinner was an elegant, sumptuous affair with guests from different parts of the world. The ballroom was done in red and gold to match our colour theme.

When I first saw Ricky in his military uniform for the ceremony, he looked so handsome. I felt like the luckiest bride in the world. We made a grand entrance through an arch of sabres.

I wish I’d had more time with friends and family, especially those who flew in for the wedding. Had it been possible, I would have hosted a banquet that lasted three days and nights!

Top tip? Have a good time while planning your wedding. Most importantly, include your mother and mother-in-law in the preparations and seek their advice as family blessings matter.
