“On the actual day, I was thrilled to finally be married to the man I love. And relieved that everything went smoothly, as planned,” says Pei Fang.


Pei Fang chose a simple bouquet of baby pink roses.

“We were set up! Our first date was supposed to be at a group dinner organised by mutual friends. We only realised it was a set-up when no one else turned up. David proposed nine months after we first met.


Details like the dramatic centrepieces, old books and banoffee pie in a jar really impressed guests.

Our wedding didn’t really have a theme, but I wanted things to be mostly pink and gold – my favourite colours. We had the customary gatecrashing and tea ceremonies in the morning, and then dinner followed by an after-party at Bang Bang. We had 600 guests, some of whom flew in from other Asian countries to be with us. The best part? Marrying the man of my dreams.”


They had a photo wall with pre-wedding portraits, and images from their courtship days, as well as their parents’ wedding photos. Guests could also take pictures with the couple in the gold frames.
