On their proposal:
“Zi Hao popped the question in the most unexpected surprise planned with my girlfriends. In July 2018, my best friends and I were on our girls’ trip to Gold Coast, but little did I know he had been secretly planning a surprise after our skydiving trip.
Challenges arose when our initial skydiving trip was postponed due to bad weather. Everyone scrambled to reschedule everything in 24 hours and thanks to their effort – Zi Hao’s best man, and the girls – I didn’t suspect a thing!
As I was gliding down from the sky, I saw the cutest banner laid out on the beach with the question, “Ischelle, will you marry me?”
Upon landing, I saw two of my closest friends (who flew in especially for this surprise proposal) together with the love of my life. As he knelt down to pop the question, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.”
On their pre-wedding shoot:
“We’ve been planning our wedding for nearly a year now and we wanted to have a pre-wedding shoot done together with our two fur babies!
At this point, we had actually done a destination shoot in London last year, so we told our vendors that we wanted to do something closer to heart, and in a softer and sweeter style in contrast to our London shoot.
Even though we love them, we knew shooting with cats wasn’t going to be easy so I’m really amazed at how everything turned out during our pre-wedding shoot.
I wore the most gorgeous gowns from Blush House Bridal and we had the prettiest set up from Years &Co. and Amy T Fleur.
On top of that, having a photographer with ample experience is of utmost importance.
We were so lucky to have Sam from Androidsinboots for our shoot as she was one of the most patient photographer we’ve met, offering guidance throughout and making the shoot so much more enjoyable for us.
Our cats are actually really sweet in temperament and much easier to handle than normal cats, but it was still hard to get them to coordinate and look pretty to the camera.
Despite the many challenges on set shooting with our cats, we absolutely love how adorable the pictures turned out!”
HER TIPS & ADVICE:
“For couples who want to shoot with their cats, you can try hiring a photographer to come to your home instead if your cats aren’t comfortable to leave home.
Also, hiring a photographer who has experience with animals is really important!”
