Malaysian singer Yuna married director Adam Sinclair last Friday (Jan 26) in a breathtaking ceremony that took place on the grounds of Puncak Rimba, a luxury resort located amidst a tropical forest in Pahang.

Attended by 300 of their family members and friends, the couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful outdoor solemnisation ceremony against the backdrop of the forest.

Lush, overflowing arrangements of tropical blooms and foliage decorated the outdoor venue, accompanied by clear tiffany chairs – complementing the wild beauty of the natural surrounds and backdrop.

We’re married! last weekend was pretty magical. I feel like everything happened for a reason and we were blessed with the wedding we’ve always wanted Alhamdulillah. It was a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. We decided to have our akad ceremony at 1 of our fav places in the whole world @puncakrimba Bentong, Malaysia. We had our challenges, it rained the whole day, there was a delay but Alhamdulillah Adam and I officially became a married couple around 6.57pm on the 26th January 2018. As soon as he put that ring on me, the fog started to roll into the mountains because of the rain earlier, and we were blessed with cool tropical weather and a beautiful view. Thank you all for your wishes and support, we can’t wait to spend our lives together. Thanks also to everyone who worked hard to make this possible❤️ we love you! After the evening solemnisation, guests proceeded to the dinner reception which was equally picturesque.

Following the theme of an English Tropical wedding, the reception was held under a grand marquee that was adorned with over a thousand naked bulbs, fresh blooms and foliage, and rows of long tables – conjuring up the most magical atmosphere.

Yuna, who is based in LA and signed to David Foster’s Verve Records, will return back to the United States while Adam will remain in Malaysia where he is based as a commercial and film director.

At the press conference, the couple was also asked about their plans after the wedding.

“Ideally I would like to take my husband to LA and be with him all the time,” Yuna said.

“But we are going to be okay. Of course, I don’t plan to stay in the US forever. Eventually, we’ll come to a decision to be with each other at the same place,” she added.

The two had met on set of a music video back in 2013, and maintained a close friendship before becoming official in 2015. They got engaged last August.

Congratulations to the newly-weds!
