Now that the wedding is over, all attention will be on the newlyweds Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ honeymoon.

According to Mirror.co.uk, Matthews will be whisking his new wife to the luxurious and secluded Tetiaroa atoll, tucked away in the French Polynesia. The high-profile couple’s honeymoon puts the spotlight on the tiny sun-kissed isle, which was once owned by American actor, film director and political activist Marlon Brando.

After the death of Brando in 2004, it was converted into a luxurious eco-resort with 35 villas. It is accessible only via a 20-minute private plane ride, and is surrounded by sparkling waters and marine life including sea turtles, manta rays and exotic birds.

The Matthews aren’t the only famous patrons of the luxurious island retreat. The island also played host to former US president Barack Obama in March, who spent time there to write his memoirs.
