Splashes of colour amidst the clear blue skies made a pretty picture.

It was the wedding we wanted We live in Australia but decided to celebrate in Bali as we have family in Indonesia as well as Malaysia. Bali seemed a convenient, central location for everyone to fly to – and perfect for the outdoor wedding we’ve always wanted.

Saying “I Do” against the backdrop of the ocean and an aisle of flower petals make for a beautiful ceremony.

She may not have been feeling too well, but the bride looked stunning on her big day.

We had a beautiful ceremony at the Infinity Chapel at the Conrad Bali Resort & Spa followed by a mid-sized garden reception by the beach. It was grand, fun and romantic.

A nifty display calendar with adorable figurines make wonderful favours for guests.

My partner, my life I was quite ill a few days before the wedding and didn’t feel all that well on the actual day itself. But when I walked into the chapel and saw Charles, I felt a sudden surge of relief and everything turned out fine. And even though we only managed to rehearse it twice, we had a fun first dance, which turned out to be my favourite part of the entire celebration. Our guests were really amused!

“Knowing I was going to spend a lifetime with the man I love, I felt strength and happiness.”

Time flies when you’re having fun. Couples should stay at a different hotel from their guests as entertaining them before and after the wedding can get tiring.

At the end of the day, don’t stress, go with the flow and enjoy yourself!
