We know we weren’t the only ones who looked forward to influencer Mongchin Yeoh’s wedding day.

Our March cover girl got wed last month to her long-time beau, Matthias Lim, and celebrated at Pan Pacific Singapore with a tea ceremony at Keyaki Pavilion, followed by their stunning wedding banquet at the grand Pacific Ballroom.

Captured by Bobby Kiran Yeo and styled by Wulala!, the couple created plenty of gorgeous memories for all those in attendance.

Read on for the full exclusive details of their celebrations below:

Share with us your wedding theme and celebration!

Our wedding day was intimate, simple and pure. I wanted it to be centred on our love, and have our closest friends and family witness the occasion and celebrate with us. We had lots of fun!

We had our church solemnisation in the morning, followed by the tea ceremony and banquet at Pan Pacific at night.

How did you feel when you saw him waiting for you at the aisle?

I was a bunch of nerves at the start, especially while my dad walked me down the aisle.

We both decided to write and memorize our own vows, too, which made it extra stressful for me. Seeing him for the first time made me less nervous because we knew we were in it together.

“I’m a fan of the mermaid cut and laces. I wanted a low back design, and a long train that would be weighty enough to create that hourglass silhouette. Divine Couture did a stunning job.”

“Our chocolate wedding cake was so yummy. It was covered with fondant but wasn’t too sweet. I was lucky that the hotel staff saved some for us at the end of the wedding because I heard it got wiped out!

“My second gown was a champagne gold Berta design that I rented from Truly Enamored. I loved it that it was easy to move around in, lightweight and really glamorous.”

What were some of the highlights?

The wedding speeches to our parents, and the speeches by our best man and maid-of-honour were definite highlights for us. They were heartfelt but at the same time, so hilarious!

Any wedding planning and budget tips?

Know the things that would truly make a difference and spend on those. Other additional things like photo-booth can be substituted by having a really nice set up at the dessert table outside. I also told my florist to re-use the flowers from church for dinner as well so I saved my expenditure on flowers.

Is there anything you would have done differently about your wedding?

There are no regrets, and I would choose to do the same all over again. I think it’s really close to the dream wedding I envisioned and I loved every bit of it!

I was very blessed to have my wedding planner, Ju Lynn from Smitten Occasions, help me with everything. The only mishap that happened was having footprints all over wedding gown before the church ceremony, but thankfully my bridesmaids managed to quickly clean it up for me!

How did you feel when it was over?

I was so dead beat, but really, really happy. My inbox was flooded with nice congratulatory messages from my friends and followers. I felt so loved!
