The pre-wedding party
The day before the actual wedding, the couple welcomed their overseas guests to a dinner party. It wasn’t a formal occasion, but happiness, love and romance was certainly in the air. While the couple weren’t dressed up, their venue was decked with lavish crystals, flower arrangements, and had a large sign with their names on it. The star-studded guestlist included actresses Tiffany Tang Yan, Wang Luo Dan, Liu Yi Fei and so on.
It’s never truly a wedding without flowers, and the couple certainly knew it. A sumptuous floral arch made of garlands of hanging blooms provided the backdrop for the couple’s solemnisation ceremony. Pastel bouquets lined the white carpeted aisle, where the bride was waiting to meet her groom.
The bride’s and her bridesmaids’ dresses
Jane looked a vision of beauty in a white off-shoulder custom-made Tony Ward ballgown with layers of silk organza, pearls and crystal embroideries. Her bridesmaids (who included Liu Yi Fei, Tan Wei Wei and Tang Yan) were dressed in mismatched custom-made silk Tony Ward dresses with floral embroidery.
The couple’s wedding portraits
Jane and Feng Ke took two sets of wedding portraits – one which depicted them going about their daily lives (including one of them buying groceries, and the other of them playing mahjong as if to prepare them for their lives after marriage), and another, more glamorous one in their wedding finery. Both sets had one thing in common though: the love between the couple was evident for all to see.
