In October 2016, 36-year-old Lynn Hung (熊黛林) and Kwok Ho-chung (郭可頌), Kenix Kwok’s (郭可盈) younger brother, registered for a marriage license in Hong Kong.
It was done in haste; even Lynn’s own mother couldn’t leave home in time to witness her daughter’s big day, reported Jayne Stars.
A few days ago, Hong Kong paparazzi spotted Lynn and Ho-chung’s family meeting up for a simple, modest wedding banquet in Hong Kong Parkview. Kenix, her husband Frankie Lam (林文龍), and their daughter Tania, were also present.
Both families finished their meal at around 11 p.m. Frankie, Kenix, and Ho-chung were the first to step out of the building. They were then followed by Lynn, her mother, and Ho-chung’s mother.
After a few minutes more of conversation. the two families happily bid each other farewell. Lynn, her mother, and her brother, boarded Ho-chung’s car for home.
According to a source, Lynn and Ho-chung’s rush to marriage was because the couple wanted to try for a baby as soon as possible.
Lynn said, “We originally wanted to register [our marriage] in September, but because the release date of my movie changed, we had to forgo our original plans.”
Lynn admitted that everything was done in a hurry. “I told my husband about the plan only a few days before we were to register. Since it was a lucky day anyways, I said we should just go for it. We don’t know how long we’re going to have to wait if we don’t do it now. I couldn’t even call my mother in time. Kenix suggested for us to keep the wedding low-profile.”
