The latest celebrities to announce that they’ve tied the knot on the sly – Project Runway’s Heidi Klum and German rock band Tokio Hotel’s Tom Kaulitz.

The two apparently legally wed in February, and it is only now that media outlets have got wind of it.

Celebrity portal TMZ reported that the couple, who’re both German, said “I do” on Feb 22, which marked the one-year anniversary of their first meeting. They’d reportedly met through a mutual friend on the set of Germany’s Next Top Model, which Klum had hosted from 2006 to 2017, and made their red carpet debut at the Cannes amfAR Gala in May 2018.

It is the third marriage for supermodel Klum, 46, and the second for the 29-year-old Tokio Hotel guitarist.

A hint had come in January when Klum turned up on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to say: “I’ve been married twice. I still believe in love and marriage. Even though I’ve failed twice at it. I guess I’m not very good at it.”

“But I found a great person. Let’s see what happens,” she confessed. Dismissing the couple’s age gap in another interview, Klum noted: “You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is going to give you only more wrinkles.”

And that is not good for her work as a supermodel.

And there’ll apparently be a second wedding! Bill Kaulitz, Tom’s twin brother and bandmate, confirmed the news with an Instagram post, sharing how he’d thrown a three-day bachelor party in Las Vegas (which included activities like jets, gambling and dune buggies and paint ball), before a ‘big wedding next’.

According to DailyMail, it’s slated to be a star-studded affair with Klum’s Next Top Model co-judge Tim Gunn, fashion designer Michael Kors, Twin Peaks star Kyle McLachlan, America’s Got Talent’s Simon Cowell, and Tom’s bandmates on the guest list. Heidi Klum’s former husband Seal, as well as their children, Helene, Henry, Johan, and Lou are also reported to be attending and have ‘significant roles’ in the ceremony.
