Actress and singer Cheryl Wee is tying the knot. In an exclusive interview with Her World Brides, the 29 year-old reveals more about her upcoming nuptials, how she envisions her dream wedding and how she met her fiance, Roy.

First of all, can you tell us more about him?

Roy is someone who is big when it comes to size. And by size, I mean his heart. He has a loving heart that is gentle yet tenacious, and gives without expecting anything in return. He’s always telling me how we can see God in everyone when we choose to see the good in everyone. He has this zest for life and takes interest in many things from road bikes to guitars, movies to historical documentaries, and culinary dreams to golf. It’s really exciting and enriching being by his side, and opening my eyes to see whole new worlds.

How did you meet, and subsequently enter into a relationship?

We met in Victoria Junior College in 2004. And the way we met and subsequently got together was like from a drama series. We were in different faculties – he was from Science and was VJ’s top tennis star while I was the nerdy Arts student in dance. The chances of us meeting were actually pretty slim. But that’s another story on its own.

What is your wedding going to be like?
Whimsical and romantic, with rose gold and champagne hues, and flowers and unicorns. I was a ballerina when I was young, so I’ve always been a lover of all things pretty, and in pink and blush. We’re putting a lot of effort into the decor and programs for the evening but we also want it to be a surprise and shall not divulge too much right now.
