Elie Saab designed his daughter-in-law's four wedding dresses and they are amazing

When Elie Saab's eldest son, Elie Saab Jr, and Christina Mourad tied the knot over a three-day celebration in Lebanon, the bride wore four of the couturier's lavish creations.

Known for his unabashedly opulent and glamorous masterpieces that are bound to turn heads, you can expect red carpet as well as bridal gowns that are nothing short of spectacular from Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab.

And when you're the acclaimed couturier's daughter-in-law? You get no less than four stunning outfits.

Elie Saab's eldest son, Elie Saab Jr, and Christina Mourad (who goes by Kika) tied the knot over a three-day celebration in Beirut, Lebanon, with over a thousand guests. The guest list included famous names like Lebanese prime minister, Saad Hariri, Victoria Secret models Karolina Kurkova, Sara Sampaio and Toni Garrn as well as Dita Von Teese.

In an interview with Brides, the bride revealed, "I met my father-in-law, Elie Saab, ten years ago and told him on that day that I would like him to realize my wedding gown. Ten years after, my dream came true."

That said, the bride admits that she did not give much thought into what her wedding dress would look like. Naturally, she left that decision up to her father-in-law.

" I felt at ease and could not get in better hands," she says. "We only had a few fittings. He understood my personality and created two gowns unique that suit perfectly who I am."

Kika sported a total of four spectacular bridal dresses that are a glam bride's dream come true. According to the UK bridal magazine, the fashion designer and his team devoted 450 hours of embroidery, 150 hours of draping and volume creations, 80 hours of embroidery layout design, and 200 hours of tailoring - and that's just for one gown.

The first pre-party (which involved dabke or folk dance and belly dancers) look was a flowing white gown with a plunging neckline, a gold belt and a matching sheer cape with intricate embroidery.

For the matrimonial and religious ceremony at the Church of Bkerke, the bride donned a custom Elie Saab Haute Couture ballgown with a 14-foot-train and lavish glittering embroidery. A magnificent veil further elevated her captivating look.

The gown featured a high neckline as a mark of respect for the ceremony venue as well as Lebanese traditions.

The second gown was a sparkling gold strapless ballgown with a corseted bodice that drew on inspired by Elie Saab's latest Haute Couture Autumn Winter 2019-20 Collection, accompanied by a matching veil that was sprinkled with an astounding 100,000 sequins.
