From The Straits Times    |

“We wanted a more lively but still intimate celebration that reflected our personalities.

It felt like a dream come true as I walked down the aisle with my father and my bridesmaids, who were all childhood friends.

The mood was vibrant and energetic; we had a live ukulele band that added zing to the evening’s festivities. For our second entrance, we danced into the ballroom to Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5. It was a blast and everyone enjoyed themselves!

Our big day was over before we knew it. We were relieved that everything went smoothly and cherished the love and kinship of our family and friends.

Take a few days off! I made the mistake of working right up to the day before my wedding because I had so many things to prepare. It would have been good to be able to recuperate before the big day.

Begin your beauty regime months in advance and delegate duties to family and members of your entourage where necessary.”
