Purple was a key colour for the wedding entourage as well as decorations and it contrasted beautifully with the sea view.

“We had our celebration over a long weekend in Bali with three days of festivities leading up to the wedding. Activities included tours by jeep, yoga classes, a welcome dinner and an all-day boat trip.

Having the ocean as a backdrop pretty much guaranteed stunning pictures.

It all began when everyone got together for the dinner the night before the wedding at Kendi Kuning, a beachfront restaurant. Our family and friends surprised us with a video featuring good wishes from friends around the world.

Our wedding reception took place in a beautiful hilltop villa overlooking the vast Indian Ocean. For a personal touch, guests signed in on a map that reflected our love for travelling and had drinks chilled in an ice carving representing James’s love for taking shots out of an ice luge.

The mood was happy, relaxed and celebratory. James and I felt loved and blessed when friends gathered around us on the dance floor and chanted “Mr and Mrs Harding!” over and over again.

“I will never forget James looking so proud and happy to see me as I walked down the aisle towards him.”

We were happy and contented, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I’d advise any bride to simply have a great time. Even if things go wrong, just remember that everyone is there to celebrate your love.”
