It seems like we’ve found the biggest Disney fan ever. Just when we thought we’d seen it all (remember this Little Mermaid-themed wedding?), this Texas bride single-handedly brought almost every single aspect of Disneyland to her wedding at The Grove in Houston, Texas.
Here, the highlights.
…the dance I did when my client’s Disney inspired wedding went viral on Popsugar and then got featured on @disneystyle this morning!!! (Link temporarily in profile) As a former Cast Member and @disneycollegeprogram Alumni at @waltdisneyworld this is a little dream come true! #disneywedding #cpalumni
If you told us these were store bought, or planned by a professional, we would’ve totally believed you. The bride took every single aspect of her favourite movies and translated them into the most fabulous centrepieces – from Cinderella’s gilded carriage, Beauty and the Beast’s castle objects, Sleeping Beauty’s castle, Snow White’s apples, the Little Mermaid’s treasures from the sea, and so on.
The couple announced their unplugged wedding with an adorable sign peppered with Disney icons such as Mickey and Minnie’s hats, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, Gus and the fairy godmother from Cinderella, Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, that guests fell in love with. See other fabulous sign inspirations here.
These sweeties are on @popsugar today! Their wedding was Disney inspired with each table paying homage to a different Disney movie. As a former maker of magic for the Walt Disney Company, I have to say it’s one of my fave weddings to date! This photo is from their first look. I’m loving those Alice in Wonderland looking bushes! The wedding dress
We’ve seen several brides donning Disney-inspired dresses. But when it comes to one that makes you feel like a true-blue Disney princess, you look to Alfred Angelo’s enchanting Disney Fairytale Weddings collection. Ashley’s strapless trumpet gown was inspired by Cinderella.
Guests received a cream-and-gold suite that was sprinkled with a generous amount of stardust. See other beautiful invitations here.
As we all know, music is an integral part when it comes to making your theme work. True to form, the couple made their entrance into the venue with instrumental Disney music playing in the background.
The cake, bouquet and boutonniere
These had Up references in the form of the elderly couple’s chairs for the cake topper, the cap bottle brooch for the groom’s boutonniere and bouquet charm. The last one, which was left to the last minute to complete (the doting groom helped his bride put it all together the night before), was the bride’s favourite detail.
