It’s Bali!
Theres something very romantic about Bali that makes it the perfect place for beautiful weddings. Having it at a resort also makes the whole celebration a lot more intimate and private – which was what Denise wanted. The best part? The couple and their guests had a swinging time at the resort before and after the wedding! For the ceremony itself, the open air venue offered gorgeous views of clear skies and sparkling seas – a stunning backdrop to the entire celebration.

The colour palette
Denise chose a gold and cream colour palette for her wedding, and kept the decor and setting classy and elegant. We love the 3-tier wedding cake with gold leaves twirling across it, and the matte gold tiffany chairs that lined the aisle. The lush and beautiful gold leaf tree branches were simply magical. As an accent, she had touches of pale pink details scattered throughout the decor – a delicate, feminine and pretty touch.

Beautiful fairy lights
They may look like nothing when packed in a box, but fairy lights add a charming sparkle to any celebration or reception, especially if you’re planning to have your wedding outdoors. Strung above your venue, the twinkling lights can look like stars against the night sky. It also gives an old school vibe much like the backyard parties during your school days.

The Dress
Breaking with tradition, Denise wore a pale pink strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with beaded details from Trinity Gallery – and she looked a-mazing! The A-line dress came with layers of sheer tulle and hundreds of fluttering silk petals; it matched the colour scheme of the decor and was the perfect, romantic dress for her first dance. Who knew muted colours could look so dreamy!

Fireworks!
Who doesn’t love fireworks? Almost every wedding in Bali ends with fireworks. The golden explosions of light and sound adds a celebratory and festive feel to any wedding celebration.
