The couple made several DIY touches, which included the mini hot-air balloon in the middle of the tent and Instagram sign.

“The proposal was a complete surprise! He popped the question on a hot air balloon, when we were holidaying in Gold Coast, Australia. To recapture that moment, I planned our wedding that was inspired by the proposal.

We had the traditional morning gatecrashing and tea ceremonies, solemnisation and lunch reception all in a day. Our reception at One Rochester, was an alfresco affair with 150 of our loved ones.

In the days leading up to the wedding, we were so busy with the preparations, we had time for little else! But when it all came together, we were glad to see our efforts come to fruition. I would’ve done it all over again.”
