There are amazing resorts that make for stunning wedding portrait backdrops, and then there's the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Hotel & Spa.

Located on the pristine beach of Phu Quoc, a hidden gem off of Vietnam's south coast, it's flanked by the crystal clear waters of the Emerald Bay.  There's no need to venture out of the resort for your pre-wedding - the colossal property  has endless spots for Insta-worthy snaps, and we do mean endless.

The brainchild of acclaimed architect Bill Bensley, this whimsical playground was designed to depict an abandoned (and completely fictional) 1890s French university inspired by notable French naturalist  Jean-Baptiste Lamarck  and all things academia -  including accommodation wings that are named after different academic departments. You'll also find plenty of vintage paraphernalia and furniture, sourced from across Europe.
