September 23, 2018 – Housed in a stand-alone 1930s heritage building within the hotel, the column-free Grand Ballroom, with its beautifully preserved architecture and expansive floor-to-ceiling LED-screen (Psst! this has a hidden door so the couple can make a surprise entrance!) sets the perfect backdrop for celebrating your nuptials in remarkable style.
At the luxury hotel’s annual wedding showcase, couples were treated to an afternoon of delectable bites, a preview of the hotel’s new and enchanting themed wedding concepts as well as signature menu items, breathtaking wedding dresses, and fabulous deals and prizes. Here’s what went down at the show:

- Classic meets Modern, a timeless combination of rich burgundy, navy and white
- Silver Linings & Glitter Gold , a balance of gleaming gold with hints of silver and metallic chrome
- Purple Crush, an elegant mix of lilac, cream and soft green shades
- Cherish Blush, with a charming combination of blush and grey with marble and copper accents

A glowing platform ensconced amid pretty blooms and airy baby’s breath turned the aisle into an entrancing display.
An array of stunning wedding and evening gowns as well as fashionable suits lit up the bridal runway of the showcase. Created by Singapore bridal designer Danny L. for Bow & Petal Bridal, there was a style for every bride – from sparkling ballgowns boasting majestic trains to ones in the dreamiest lace details.

Handcrafted with sugar, this magnificent dessert carousel laden with sweet confections took centre stage at the foyer below the Grand Ballroom.
If you’re looking to impress your guests with the food, you can leave it to the capable hands of Executive Chef Stefano Di Salvo. Together with his dedicated team, you can be sure of culinary creations that will tantalise the fussiest of tastebuds.
Couples who attended the afternoon affair were treated to delectable butler-passed canapes and a gigantic dessert carousel specially created by Di Salvo. Also on display were mouthwatering dishes from the Chinese menu that included Braised Abalone, Steamed Live Tiger Garoupa (Hong Kong Style), Lotus Leaf Fried Rice with Mini Abalone and Chinese Sausage.
Western delights were beautifully plated, and included Prime Beef Sirloin with Asparagus Rolled in Bacon, Cabernet Jus and Shallot Compote, Seafood Soup, Marinated Scallop with Mango, Cucumber Salsa, Salmon Roe and Edible Flower.
