It’s not hard to see why Israeli designer Inbal Dror was one of the few to have her design sketches submitted for the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (although the honour ultimately went to British designer Clare Waight Keller for luxury fashion house Givenchy); her gowns are undeniably romantic and alluring, but updated with of-the-moment elements.
For Fall 2019, the Mediterranean Sea served as the inspiration for Dror parade of gossamery creations that turn a bride’s dreams of a Mediterranean romance into reality.
Super sheer layers, plunging necklines and feminine silhouettes that are the hallmarks of Dror’s designs were of course present throughout the collection, along with unexpected detailing that fashion-forward brides will appreciate. From ballgowns and A-lines that shimmer like a dream, eye-catching crochet lace and elaborate high-neck detailing to billowy embroidered dresses perfect for a summer romance, there’s one for every type of bride.
