2019 TREND: 22 stunning ballgowns and princess gowns for every modern Cinderella bride

Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika favours the ballgown and princess wedding dress for Fall 2019, dreaming up enchanting florals gowns, as well as glamorous creations that exude contemporary romance.

Ever the bridal favourites, ballgowns and princess-style A-lines wedding dresses are the focus of Georges Hobeika's wedding presentation for Autumn Winter 2019/20.

The collection offers classic brides a plethora of contemporary yet utterly romantic options. Hobeika has always been at home with floral embellishments so brides can expect no less than the dreamiest floral appliques and exquisite embroidery gracing his dresses. For the more contemporary bride, structured peplums, shimmery lattices, asymmetrical tiered hemlines, geometric panelling and clean necklines (including a sporty chic halter with a keyhole opening) are striking options.

As more brides look towards non-white alternatives for their big day, Hobeika has added subtle almond hues and off-white to his bridal repertoire. (See also: Go nude for your wedding! The hot, trending colour for gowns)

There are, of course, other silhouettes in his collection, namely a pearl-studded suit made extra wedding-worthy with a flutter of tulle, and a figure-hugging sheath that comes with vintage-esque chandelier shoulders and a gauzy, shimmery train.
