When The Hills star Lauren Conrad wed her lawyer fiance William Tell, we knew it was going to be a stylish celebration everyone would gush over, if her bridal shower was an indication of things to come.

And judging by the happy snaps on Instagram (contributed by Lauren’s brother, and the rest of their friends), it seemed like one heck of a celebration.

The rustic-chic ceremony took place in a winery in California’s Santa Ynez Valley with guests such as fellow The Hills actress Lo Bosworth, family and friends. We heard the wedding was a homey one which included pretty little details such as vintage hankerchiefs, homemade apple pie, bottles of wine as welcome gifts, and more.

The reality-star-turned-fashion-designer wore a custom-made Badgley Mischka creation (which she worked with the designer on) made with two-tone Chantilly and Alencon lace adorned with crystals, pearls and baby glass beads, as well as a 10-foot train. She then changed into a Monique Lhuillier dress for the reception.

Favours: Guests at the couple’s wedding received a wooden goodie box that comprised pretzels, peanuts, gummies, a deck of playing cards customised with the arrow and apple logo (a play on the groom’s full name, William Tell), a fold-out card explaining the rules to some of Lauren and William’s favourite games, a notepad for keeping score, and mini-pencils. These were given to pay homage to the couple’s favourite activity when they were dating: Gin Rummy.
