Inspired by the fairy tale Alice In Wonderland, The White Rabbit has a certain whimsical charm. Housed in a beautifully restored 1930s chapel with stained glass windows in the Dempsey area, its fabulous interior blends modern and vintage furnishings.

Popular for its fresh take on classic cocktails and European recipes featuring quality seafood, meats and vegetables, must-tries from its wedding menus include Pan Roasted Barramundi, Hand Dive Scallop Tartare, Seared Foie Gras, Smoked Duck, Alaskan King Crab Ravioli, Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek and Butter Poached Maine Lobster.

The White Rabbit, which has a fine selection of wines, coffees and teas, also does awesome desserts. Favourites include Lemon Mint Jelly and Duo Preparation of Chocolate, featuring Valrhona Dulcey Chocolate Tart, Warm Dark Chocolate Fondant and Fromage Blanc Sorbet.

For weddings, the main dining area seats up to 120 indoors. The adjoining Rabbit Hole – a pretty outdoor garden – is great for the cocktail hour, solemnisations, and after-parties.

Another plus: The venue’s drink packages include free flow soft drinks, juices and beers.
